Ubon.in.th is an independent guide to Ubon Ratchathani city and province. It is designed to help readers understand places before visiting, plan around real distances and changing conditions, and engage respectfully with local culture and protected landscapes.

This first release contains one substantially rewritten article from the former WordPress site and five new guides. Each practical article shows when its information was last checked and links to the public agencies or research sources used.

Editorial approach

• We separate stable history and interpretation from opening hours, prices, weather, river levels, border conditions, and annual programs that can change.
• We do not invent personal visits, quotations, business recommendations, or current access conditions.
• Generated imagery is labelled as editorial illustration and is never presented as documentary proof of a place.
• We prefer official agencies, local institutions, primary research, and clearly identified community sources.

Ubon.in.th currently publishes in English. Thai place names are included so readers can confirm locations and communicate more easily. A Thai edition is planned for a later phase.

Technology

The site is statically generated with Astro and uses the open-source Casper editorial theme. The repository is private, while the published tourism website is public.
